OK, SO HOW TO REDUCING PROCRASTINATE?

1. Try to do list app

=So you will be afraid to procrastinate your work or assignments. In conclusion, you can finish your assignments at the right time.

2. Not influenced by peers

=Because friends are a powerful influence on us. As saying goes ' Friends are like a mirror, they reflect back to you'

3.Punish yourself

=Okay.That might sound extreme, but for many, having a specific and slightly painful consequence' for procrastinating is just enough motivation to get things done.

4. Stop overthinking

=Another reason we tend to procrastinate is that we fall into the trap of overthinking. What I do a bad job on the presentation? what no one reads the blog post I am about to write?? (IN YOUR MIND FULL OF OTHER'S THINKING)

5.Putting it all together

=While procrastination will never go away, you can always learn how to manage it more efficiently.

TOPIC 4: GETTING TO KNOW THE CAMPUS

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS OUR TUN FATIMAH LAKE. Other than that, we also call a shortcut route to go to our class. We just need to walking surround this lake so it makes students easier to go to the class in the early morning. This lake has beautiful views and environments. It was so comfortable and fresh place to visit. This lake is really suitable for students who like a quiet environment to study or to memorize something..

2.RICHIAMO

The second place is RICHIAMOO!!!! This cafe is really famous among students UITM LENDU. This cafe is so relaxed and they also have a music instrument. So anybody who wants to play the guitar should go there to show your abilities. Not only that, but they are also selling many types of drinks, the popular drinks in the RICHIAMO cafe are "Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea".As you can see below this.RICHIAMO cafe was established by Raja Elya last year.

3.LIBRARY

Lets we go to the library part. Library also a famous place among UiTM Lendu students especially when the examination coming soon😂. It was because students will get more resources and services. The libraries have plenty of resources that can cater to the specific needs of every student. The UiTM Lendu library was bigger and extensive for all students. For anybody who wants to enter the library should bring their matrics card and library card to borrow a book or return a book. .The library is for students to get books and information about the subject and to do research because there are many facilities available.

We have been described in the process of borrowing a book. The tips to borrow a book is:

MEMORY? WHAT IS MEMORY?🤔🧠

💗Memory is the ability to save and remain the information and experience.

What is the brain ??

💗The brain is the organ, like a hardware

There are three stages of memory which are:

Sensory Memory

Sensory memory refers to the brief storage of sensory information. Sensory memory is a memory buffer that lasts only very briefly and then, unless it is attended to and passed on for more processing, is forgotten. The purpose of sensory memory is to give the brain some time to process the incoming sensations and to allow us to see the world as an unbroken stream of events rather than as individual pieces.

Sensory short-term

Most of the information that gets into sensory memory is forgotten, but information that we turn our attention to, with the goal of remembering it, may pass into short-term memory.

Sensory long-term

This is unlimited and large (like a big library with a lot of the books area an analogy to information we encode and save).

MEMORY MANAGE:

1. Always memorize something no matter where you are.

2. Trying to share your knowledge with others through your teaching style.

3. Take care of my food and drink routines(do not eat too many ants ok😂).

4. Always imagines the topics that you have learned before in the class.

5. Do not ever try to watching something negative.

FACTORS THAT AFFECTS MEMORY

1) Good health

A person with good health can retain the learned material better than a person with poor health.

2) Age of the learner

Youngsters can remember better than age.

3)Intelligence

A more intelligent person will have a better memory than a dull person.

4)Meaningfulness of the material

Meaningful materials remain in our memory for a longer period than for nonsense material.

5)Sleep or rest

Sleep or rest immediately after learning strengthens connections in the brain and helps for clear memory.

• Organizational Strategies

What are the meanings of organizational strategies??

🔶An organizational strategy is the sum of the actions a company intends to take to achieve long-term goals. Together, these actions make up a company’s strategic plan. Strategic plans take at least a year to complete, requiring involvement from all company levels. Top management creates a larger organizational strategy, while middle and lower management adopt goals and plans to fulfill the overall strategy step by step.

Here are some common reasons why organizational strategies fail:

• Lack of understanding of individual, team, and organization capabilities.
• Insufficient resources and assets to actually execute the strategy.
• Inadequate time allocation of the tasks involved.
• Poor financing decisions (failure to appreciate cash-flow needs or under-budgeting).
• Insufficient control and project planning

TRY SOME ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES

Look at the following list of words for sixty seconds, then cover it with your hand or a piece of paper and try to write the words in margin.

💗Concentration is the ability to direct one’s attention in accordance with one’s will. It means control of the attention. It is the ability to focus the mind on one subject, object or thought, and at the same time exclude from the mind every other unrelated thought, ideas, feelings, and sensations.

Strategies to improve our concentration

HOW?🤔

1. Try to focus on one thing.

2. Ignore anything that happens surrounds you.

3. Be an active learner and a good listener in class. Put your hands up if you do not understand some of the topics.

4. Use an inspirational goal to keep you more consistent and focus on doing something and it will help you to archives your main goal.

It was a short meaning of SQ3R.So let me tell you more detail about SQ3R.

1)Survey

-Pre-read chapter. Look at titles, headings, words in boldface and italics; graphs and diagrams; summary or conclusion and questions at the end of the chapter.

2)Query

-Form questions to be answered while reading.

3)Read

-Read material with the intent of answering previously developed.

4)Recite

-Produce a verbal and written summary of what has been read.

5)Review
-Re-read to solidify understanding and retention.

 TOPIC6: Taking Lecture Notes


WHAT IS TAKING LECTURE NOTES??
=Taking lecture notes means take note of all the lessons learned by the lecturer.



PREPARING FOR LECTURER NOTE

1.Complete notes before the day’s lecture. 

-Teachers assign notes so that you will be familiar with the topic being discussed in class.  If you do the assigned notes before class, you’ll already know many of the background details.😉

2)Check for online course materials and lecture outlines.

 -If your teacher provides outlines, PowerPoint slides, or even a basic summary of the upcoming lecture, use it to your advantage.

3)Sit near the front of the room.

- Choose a spot in the class where you will have few distractions. Then you will be able to pay attention better and take better notes. Find a spot where you can see and hear the lecturer clearly. You should also be able to see the board clearly. So you should come a bit early to make sure that you will get the in front sit.

4)Label your paper with the date and topic of the lecture. 

-Make sure your notes are clearly labeled for future reference. Write the date of the lecture and the topic at the top of each page. But make sure you put the number too on your book pages to make you easier to found the pages that you want to read. So it will save you time.

5)OPEN MIND AND LISTENING

-When you open your mind and be a good listener is you will be more focus in the class. Then in your mind just fully with knowledge that you want to learn. There are a lot of benefits that you will get. For example, is you will never lose a keyword of the question from the lecturer. This is one of the effective ways for successful students to achieve their goals.

6)ASK AND ANSWER THE QUESTION

=This is so important to us as a student. We no need to be shy to asking and answer the question given by the lecturer when you in class. Other than that, didn't be shy to ask some question that we didn't understand in the class. If you shy,  you will never be a success because successful students are students who love to ask and answer the question in the class.

7)FOCUS PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY 

=So you should set your physical and your mind that you come to the class because you want to learn something new and not to waste your time to chat with your friend about a fashion or football and anything else. You should use your time properly because the time will never come back.

SO, REMEMBER WITH WHAT I HAVE TALKING ABOUT 😉💗🌹

TIPS to make you easier to remember is :

✔-Your book label is colorful. So it will attract you to be more excited to know and then read the topics.

✔-Fold the page of the books you have read.

✔-You can use a bookmark.

✔-Use your own languages or word.

WHY WE AS STUDENT MUST TAKE A LECTURE NOTE???

1=The answer is we as students should to write down every topic or a key to the lecture question because every word that came out from the lecture mouth is the gold answer and maybe some of the questions are the format for an examination. So it was so important to listening and taking note of every topic that lectures teaching for.

2=Taking notes also can improve our memory. So your brain will be thought faster to found any answer that lectures give to you.

3=Helping us to pay attention in class. It was because you just will focus on what lecturers teaching in front of the class and you don't have enough time to pay attention to other things that happen surrounding you such as chair sound, a friend wants to chat with you and a lot of things.

The effective note-taking system will help you to save your time and write your note with an easy method.

1.CORNELL NOTE METHOD

BENEFITS:

-Easy format for pulling out major concept and ideas.

-Simple and efficient.

-Saves time and effort.

2.MAPPING METHOD

BENEFITS:

-This format helps you to visually track your lecture regardless of conditions. 

-Little thinking is needed and relationships can easily be seen. 

-It is also easy to edit your notes by adding numbers, marks, and color-coding. 

3.TWO COLUMN METHOD

BENEFITS OF THIS METHOD:

-Organized and systematic for recording and reviewing notes.

-Easy format for pulling out major concepts and ideas.

-Simple and efficient.

-Save time and effort.

4)OUTLINING METHOD 

BENEFITS:

- The well-organized system if done right.

. .Outlining records content as well as relationships. 

-It also reduces editing and is easy to review by turning the main points into questions.

5)Sentence method

BENEFITS

- Slightly more organized than the paragraph. Gets more or all of the information. 

- Thinking of tract content is still limited.

BENEFITS:

- It helps you track conversions and dialogues where you would normally be confused and lose out on relevant content.

- It provides an easy review mechanism for both memorization of facts and the study of comparisons and relationships.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM??

🔻Plagiarism means taking someone's works or assignments like copy and paste. Other than that plagiarism means you copy someone's work without knowledge and permission. It meant that you never give your own idea for your assignments because you just copy and paste other's work.

WHY WE SHOULD CARE ABOUT PLAGIARISM PROBLEMS??

-Because it was shown that we are either confident or not.

-Plagiarism was a bigger problem among students or officers nowadays.

-We must to avoiding plagiarism to be a success.

How to avoiding plagiarism??🤔

It was so easy to avoiding plagiarism. There are some of the  ways of avoiding plagiarism :

1. Understand what is plagiarism and know your institutional policy.

2. Improve your note-taking skills cite it when you find it, not later.

3. Trying to making your own ideas. Don't worry about the result, as long as you have tried your best for your assignments.

4. You must be confident to do anything by yourself 

5. Believe with your abilities.

6.  Didn't care what others said about your languages.

LONG-TERM MEMORY


Assalamualaikum and hello everyone. My name is Nur Iwani. I am from Kuala Lumpur. I was born at  Hospital Raub, Pahang. I would like to share with all of you about my experience when I was 15 years old. I am a bottom student in the first class of 3 inspiration class.3 inspiring classes include 24 students. Each time the examination arrives at the beginning of the year,mid-year, PT3 trial, and examination PT3. I am gonna got a bottom mark in the class position. I have got 19/24 in class. I am very shy with my friends. I have never got attention from the teachers who taught my class. It was because my teachers target to the smart students only. It made me down and give up on studies. When PT3 exam results have come out, I have got 3A. I am so happy with my results because I have never got 3A before this examination. When 'Hari Anugerah Cemerlang ' days held. I felt very sad because all the students in 3 inspiration class except me and two others did not get the awards. This thing happened because they only choose students who get more than 4A to rise up on the stage to take an award. I was able to smile and give the applause roaring for their success. I can see a happier face of them while receiving the awards. From those moments I was determined to work further in the next year. When 2017 was coming, I am in form 4, I have chosen an account and business class. The name of the class is '4Ikhlas'.I have got an offer to get into the first class which is a pure science class. But I still choose an account and business course class because I really love the money and digits of the number. When the class start, I have set in my mind to focus when teachers were teaching in front of the class. Every time the test was over, I will definitely get excellent results in the class. I am so happy because all of my tired before this has been paid. Other than that, I am also got a lot of awards from the school. For example,'Anugerah Pelajar Cemerlang','Tokoh Nilam','Anugerah The Ant','Anugerah Gred Purata Calon Terbaik' and others. Then I am also joined a lot of activities like school, district and state level of "kawat kaki Pandu Puteri", running race, jump long distance, jump short distance and "lontar peluru".It was because it was not fair if I am just focused on academics only and not on sports activities. So I have decided to balance both of them. Next, I have held several positions such as librarians, cooperative society and assistant class. When 2018 was coming, I am in form 5. I had been a senior in school. In 2018, I have got a lot of problems like health problems and the loss of my best friend. This thing has made it difficult for me to focus on the lesson. I have taken a little time to restore my spirit back. Every time I want to give up, I always remember the back of my bad and sad history in 2017. I do not want that story happened again in my life. I had made my history to be my own strength in the future. After waiting for a month, the result of Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia was coming out. I am so excited. I have got 5A 2B 1C. Even though it was not the best result in the school but I am so grateful to Allah S.W.T for this best result. I am so thankful to my parents, my teachers and my cousins for their bits of advice had given to me. Next, teachers were called my name to take an award and took photos on the stages. I have got bigger applause from others. Now I can felt how to be a successful student in schools. I have received an offer to continue my studies at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) at Alor Gajah, Lendu, Melaka. I have promised myself to always been spirits of any new things happen in the future.
